I’ve often wondered why there weren’t any autofocus 3rd party lenses for the Fuji x-series of cameras (There are some manual focus lenses). I’ve heard it was a proprietary thing in that Fuji wasn’t releasing the technical information needed by a lens manufacturer to create an autofocus x-lens. Well, that has changed. Sigma recently announced three lenses for the Fuji x-lineup.
Chris Niccolls over a DPReview does a nice job giving an overview of these lenses – the 16mm at 1.4, 30mm at 1.4, and 56mm at again, 1.4.
