Thomas Heaton has an excellent video featuring landscape photography and a wildlife expedition to the Hornstrandir nature reserve in Iceland. Heaton travels from Reykjavik to Hornvik with the goal of photographing wild arctic foxes and beautiful landscapes with a Nikon Z7 II and a selection of lenses.
Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote is a beautiful place to visit, but it is heavily regulated making landscape photography almost impossible. Thomas Heaton was lucky enough to be asked to attend Canarian Photo Week which had been granted permission to visit one viewpoint for sunset and sunrise.
With a forecast for some extreme winter conditions, Thomas Heaton packed up their 4×4 camper van, grabbed a Nikon Z7 II, and headed to the far north of Scotland to indulge in some winter landscape photography.
